Helpline

Anyone who is concerned about potential abuse by a health or care practitioner can ring the Helpline.  WITNESS staff provide a listening ear, information and support and people calling don't need to have identified abuse before they call.

Support

Focused telephone support sessions are available for survivors of abuse. These sessions offer the opportunity for people to explore what has happened to them in a safe space, to be listened to and to think about their next steps forward.

Advocacy

Advocacy is available for people who wish to take some formal action. This may entail writing letters, going to mediation or making a formal report to a professional association or regulator.

WITNESS's service focuses on the unethical behaviours such as sexual contact, psychological or emotional abuse or financial exploitation.
