Your use of this site indicates that you have read and accepted our disclaimer

When introducing this site it may be better to begin by stating what it IS NOT!!!  This site is not about doing a hatchet job on the hypnotherapy profession!!!

It is about taking positive steps to do something constructive about the very small number of hypnotherapists whose actions, through either ignorance or lack of professionalism, are the measure by which the rest of us, the majority, are all too often judged.  The majority of complaints brought against hypnotherapists by clients are in the areas of Professional behaviour and Overcharging.  This would include such concerns as inadequate facilities.

In addition there have also been complaints made against hypnotherapists by both members of the public and from within the profession to The Advertising Standards Authority.  These complaints have largely been in relation to smoking cessation therapy.

There are also concerns from within the industry itself about the way in which certain hypnotherapists present their NHS Provider Numbers and mis-use the NHS Logo.

What can you do to help?
This web site is about raising awareness in a fair and non-sensationalist manner.  Browse this site and familiarise yourself with the issues.  Help spread the word by telling other people about us.

We will also be making announcements about developments in the profession as we become aware of them, and to that end include a recent announcement from the General Hypnotherapy Register
